The SOURCE Receives Amway Impact Grant to Support Career Readiness Program at AYA Youth Collective

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., August 4, 2026 – Amway has awarded The SOURCE a one-year Impact Grant
to help young people who are experiencing instability secure employment. The SOURCE provides career
readiness, resource navigation, and job placement services to young people who are connected to AYA
Youth Collective, a Grand Rapids-based non-profit organization dedicated to helping young adults who
are experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
Amway joins a growing list of community partners who have signed on to support this critical initiative,
including Express Employment, Goodwill Industries, Steepletown Neighborhood Services, and the
Steelcase Foundation. Local employers, including several who belong to The SOURCE’s employer
network, provide employment opportunities to program participants.

Director for The SOURCE’s west region. “Community support is the cornerstone of this program. We are
grateful to partners like Amway for their continued confidence in The SOURCE and their willingness to
invest in the young people at AYA who deserve every opportunity to achieve their goals.”
The SOURCE and AYA Youth Collective launched this supportive employment initiative in 2024 in
response to a growing need for career readiness support among AYA-served youth. Program participants
complete career aptitude assessments, financial literacy training, social and emotional learning, and other
programs that will help them navigate interpersonal relationships and workplace expectations. The
SOURCE’s resource navigators assist participants in accessing community support to overcome barriers
to employment. Employers who commit to providing career opportunities receive support from The
SOURCE to equip them with the tools they need to help participants reach their full potential.
Grand Rapids-based employers who are interested in learning more about how they can support young
